We are treated to this image:

...for about five seconds. Once it's disappeared, we get a glimpse of a huge, armored airship (reminiscent of the ones from the Mario series, only bigger) before we cut to *insert publisher's name here*. We then see a ladder from a ship called the Nite Owl being lowered to ground level, a man in an ink blot mask, a detective-styled hat and jacket, a white scarf, purple striped pants, and purple gloves perched on it. He soon steps off (causing the ladder to go back in the ship and the ship to fly off) and then cracks his fingers as he says (voiced by Troy Baker in the English trailer) "Come and get me." before going in a battle-ready stance, all while his name "RORSCHACH" fades in at the bottom of the screen.

We are soon in a gameplay view of the airship's deck (in a new stage called Hero's Gunship) where many characters from Heavy Hitters (Mark, Gene, Lizzie, Julio), Brutal Fists (Jimmy Randalf, Magenta, Gang Longwei), Lord of the Underground (Tyson Floyd, Suchin Rama, Eddie and Ryoko Sakamoto), Battle Rhythm (Carlos Velazquez, Joaquin Ortiz, Rina Yamanaka, Adriana Salazar, Ivan Diaz, Takeru Hojo, Shantel Jameson, and Kastor Euklideus), and God of the Arena (Silver Mask, Relampago Azul Jr.) are in the background cheering on the fighters. Rorschach slashes a cleaver horizontally, hitting Kano. It then cuts to Rorschach slashing the cleaver down at Kano.

In another shot, we see Rorschach performing a low left kick (his crouching light kick) linked into a right punch (his standing medium punched) canceled into him spraying aerosol onto a lit match and swinging it over his head, creating a crescent flame attack (Crescent Flame). knocking Kano up. We soon cut to Rorschach perforoming a Crush Counter variant of a left uppercut (his crouching heavy punch), knocking Kano up into the air before he cancels into a move where he fires his grapple gun and pulls Kano behind him on hit (Grapple Gun).

After a brief flash, we cut to two shots of Rorschach demonstrating his two throws; one where he breaks Kano's arm with a punch, then elbows him in the face, thus knocking him to the ground (Rorschach's forward throw), and one where he begins just like with the last throw, but ending with Rorschach shoulder tossing Kano behind him (his back throw).

After another brief flash, we see Rorschach performing a Target Combo involving a low right kick (his standing light kick), a right punch (again, his standing medium punch) and rightward right kick (HK), but is interrupted by Kano activating his Space Maker. We soon see Rorschach perform his EX Grapple Gun in which the resulting pull causes a wall bounce. He extends this combo by spraying aerosol into a lit match, creating a mid-ranged stream of fire (Aerosol Flamethrower).

After another brief flash, we see Rorschach take some pepper out of his jacket pocket and tossing it forward at Kano, causing him to stagger back (Rorschach's V-Skill), allowing Rorschach to slide along the ground before, on hit, getting on top of Kano to perform a two-fisted strike on Kano's torso (Sliding Tackle). We soon cut to Kano hopping forward for a right knee thrust (B or F + MK), only for Rorschach to counter by brushing away the attack and grabbing Kano's hand to "break" his "pinky finger" before knocking Kano away for a right knee to the face (Rorschach's V-Reversal).

After another brief flash, we see Kano attempting to roll like a ball forward as Rorschach activates his V-Trigger and has the Nite Owl ship to fly downward and unleash a flame-blast forward, stopping Kano in his tracks. We soon cut to Rorschach jumping in on Kano with a downward aimed right (or in his case, left) punch (his jumping medium punch) and following up with a crouching left (or in his case, right) punch (his crouching light punch) before canceling into a single roll forward before hopping up for a hard left (or in this case, right) hook (Desolation Roll). We then immediately cut to Rorschach (on the other side now) performing his jumping medium punch followed by a right palm thrust (his crouching medium punch) before canceling into an EX Crescent Flame (which adds a downward flame attack at the end).

We then cut to Rorschach performing his Crush Countered crouching heavy punch to knock Kano into the air. He then follows this up by shooting his grapple to the ceiling to jump up and swing forward with a kick (Grapple Swing). Rorschach then tosses his V-Skill pepper at Kano, making him stagger back before following up with his Nite Owl assist-esque V-Trigger.

After a brief flash, we see Rorschach adjusting his hat as he says "Ready when you are.", thus starting up his Critical Art. Rorschach then slides along the ground and on contact, he rolls on top of Kano to punch him in the face four times before we get a quick glimpse of his meat cleaver, then cutting to Rorschach as he swings the cleaver on Kano's (unseen) face, which is enough to K.O. him. After Kano's KO scream was heard, we immediately cut to Rorschach rolling up his mask to pop a sugar cube in his mouth (as the announcer says "Rorschach wins") before pulling his mask back down and tossing away the wrapper. He then gets out his journal and opens it up to take a look at it, causing a freeze in that moment and resulting in black and white colored streaks to surround him.

We then cut to the logo to FI: LOTS along with some credits at the bottom before it fades away. After a brief fade to black, we are treated to cherry blossom petals falling down before (after a few moments) a familiar paper fan pops up from the right side of the screen, causing a female voice to shout (provided by Laura Bailey in the English trailer) "Yeah! Nippon Ichi!" before we cut to black again.
Another Fighter's Island veteran rejoins the fray. Rorschach, who's been in the series since FI2, has had a slight moveset tweak from FI R to this game. A few new moves have been added to his repertoire; the Desolation Roll move :iconjc013: gave him in his fanmade injustice set for Rorschach as well as tossing pepper from in his jacket pocket (which he actually did in the Watchmen comic), but other than that, he's a faithful representation to the original MUGEN sprite (look it up, it's amazing).

Also, you might've noticed a new stage in his trailer. That would be the airship me and :iconask-theangelofsouls: use in our RPs (he actually requested I put it in, and I did). Also, if you're an avid SNK fan, you may be able to recognize who the next DLC character will be.
